Twin Gear Technology

At the heart of the Greenpower Juicers is the twin gears.

These precision designed and engineered twin gears incorporate magnetic and bioceramic technology. There are pocket recesses in the twin gears with a specialized cutting mechanism to separate a living juice from the pulp.

At the core of each of the twin gears is a series of magnets which are alternated between positive and negative.

When the two gears are placed side by side, the positive and negative magnets are also alternated between the gears, which generate a positive charge, or attraction. At this molecular level, the magnets are creating positive ions as the gears spin.

Surrounding the inner core of magnets is a second level containing bio-ceramic particles which is covered by an outer layer of stainless steel. Bio ceramic particles, produced by infra red technology, also emit positive ions. The magnets in the gears work in conjunction with the bio-ceramic particles; the magnets recharge the bio-ceramic material and the bio-ceramic material recharges the magnets. This action enables more positive ions to be generated than can be held in charge by either the magnets or bio-ceramic material and the overflow of positive ions add more vitality and longevity to the life of the enzymes and nutrients, reducing oxidation and keeping the juice fresher, longer.

The newly introduced “Jang” twin gears mesh together more finely than ever before, so more of the cellulose wall is opened during the extraction process, leaving the enzymes and nutrients suspended in colloidal form, making them more accessible to the body. This finer meshing means you can grind even such solid materials as coffee beans, peanuts and sesame seeds.

With the new Hippocrates juicer you can expect a smooth pulp free textured juice and much less foam on your wheatgrass juice than ever before.

Improvements in the design have also led to a longer warranty of 12 years on the motor, parts and labour.

I have been looking into purchasing a twin gear juicer and wonder what is the difference between the Hippocrates Juicer and other twin gear juicers such as the Twin Health and Angel Juicer?

  2. Greenpower Girl says:

The Angel juicer and the Twin Health juicer are very poor quality; the twin gears which are 100% stainless steel were recalled in Korea where they are made because of the metal shavings found in the juice, so 100% stainless steel twin gears are not considered safe plus the quality of the juice is poor as the twin gears are not precision designed to be as efficient as the Hippocrates juicer.

  3. Alexandre Marcil says:

I have read that the newer models have their twin gears closer together to reduce foaming and improve juicing.
So, basically what you are saying is that the good model is the GPT-1303? How is the foaming issue on this model?

  4. Greenpower Girl says:

Yes, its true that the foaming which occurred when juicing wheatgrass with previous models has been greatly improved with the Hippocrates juicer GPT-1303.

For general use, it’s no problem, but in commercial situations when you are juicing large quantities of wheatgrass, you will still notice some foam although its significantly less than with the Green Life, Green Star and Greenpower Gold juicers of times gone by.

We have an optional pasta & wheatgrass kit available which utilises a different set of twin gears.

If you wish to produce commercial quantities of wheatgrass juice, I would suggest you purchase the additional attachments.
